Chapter 1: A Birth in the Time of Camelot

Unraveling the Threads of Incarnation, Destiny, and History

I was born in 1961, ten months into John F. Kennedy’s presidency, a time that would come to be known as Camelot—a fleeting golden age of hope, transformation, and visionary leadership. It was a moment when the world teetered on the edge of great possibility, and yet, just a few years later, that dream would be shattered.

I did not understand as a child what it meant to be born at this time. I did not know that I had chosen—deliberately, before birth—to incarnate into a world shaped by powerful figures, historical shifts, and unseen forces. But now, as I trace back through the patterns, I see how the astrology of my birth, the bloodline I entered, and the events that followed were not random. They were markers of a plan—a puzzle my soul had left behind, waiting for me to uncover.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
Jeremiah 1:5

Did I, like many others, come here on assignment? Was my incarnation carefully placed at this turning point in history, not by chance, but by cosmic design?

A Bloodline of Explorers and Leaders

Among the first threads I began pulling was my ancestral connection to Christopher Columbus. I am his 13-times great-grandchild, a descendant of a man who altered the course of history by setting sail into the unknown.

At first, I dismissed this as a mere historical footnote—interesting but irrelevant. Yet as I came to understand more about pre-incarnative planning, karmic ties, and the cyclical nature of history, I began to wonder:

  • Had my soul chosen a bloodline of explorers and pioneers for a reason?
  • Was I here to continue a journey of discovery—not across physical oceans, but through time, consciousness, and unseen realms?
  • And if Columbus reshaped the world of the past, was I born into a time of equal transformation, meant to help reshape the future?

“Those who seek shall find. Those who knock, the door will be opened.”
Matthew 7:7

If my lineage carried the imprint of explorers, perhaps my quest was never about geography—but about understanding the unseen forces that shaped history, and my place within them.

The Cosmic Blueprint: My Natal Chart and the Era I Was Born Into

My natal birth chart as developed by the A.R.E., Cayce Organization

A natal chart is a celestial map of the sky at the moment of birth, a cosmic fingerprint unique to each soul. If I had chosen this incarnation deliberately, then my birth chart should hold signs of transformation, karmic lessons, and a connection to historical events.

And it did.

Pluto in Virgo (7°) – The Transformation of Structures

Pluto in Virgo

Pluto, the planet of deep transformation, power, and rebirth, was in Virgo when I was born—a placement tied to dismantling outdated systems and rebuilding something new.

  • This was the same Pluto cycle that oversaw the upheavals of the 1960s—the civil rights movement, the Cold War, and the death of visionary leaders like JFK and MLK.
  • I had entered a world at a time of political and social transformation, and my own life would mirror this theme.

“Those who desire to ascend must first be broken and remade.”
The Gospel of Thomas

Saturn in Capricorn (24°) – Karmic Lessons of Leadership and Responsibility

Saturn

Saturn, the great teacher of karma and discipline, was in Capricorn, the sign of leadership, government, and historical cycles.

  • This placement suggests a soul that came to experience the weight of responsibility, the long journey of understanding structures of power.
  • It aligns with JFK’s presidency, which sought to redefine American leadership—but also ended in its abrupt fall, mirroring the karmic lesson of Saturn’s cycles.

“Your teacher will no longer hide himself, but with your own eyes you will see your teacher.”
Isaiah 30:20

Saturn’s role in my chart suggests that the teacher was never outside of me—it was time itself, unfolding through the lessons of history.

Neptune in Scorpio (9°) – The Dissolution of Illusions

Neptune governs dreams, illusions, and spiritual awakening—and in Scorpio, it ties to secrets, hidden knowledge, and deep transformation.

  • The assassination of JFK in 1963—when Neptune had progressed further through Scorpio—was a moment when the illusions of Camelot shattered.
  • My own life has carried echoes of this theme of disillusionment and awakening—the journey from believing in a world of ideals to understanding its deeper, hidden realities.

“There are no mistakes, only lessons. All paths lead to the One.”
The Law of One, Ra Material

Uranus in Leo (23°) – Sudden Change in Leadership

Uranus, the planet of revolution and sudden shifts, was in Leo, the sign of kings and leadership.

  • JFK was often compared to a king—young, bold, and meant to usher in a golden age.
  • But Uranus signifies disruptions, unexpected turns, and awakenings—and his assassination in 1963 was precisely that.
  • My own life would be filled with Uranian moments—sudden realizations, radical shifts, and the call to see beyond the surface of reality.

“You are all wanderers in illusion until the veil is lifted.”
The Law of One, Ra Material

This, perhaps, is the message Uranus brought to me: that the world is not as it seems, and awakening is a process of learning to see beyond the illusion.

A Soul’s Plan Unfolding

At the time of my birth, I had no idea of these astrological alignments, historical patterns, or soul contracts. I was simply a child entering a world shaped by forces I did not yet comprehend.

But looking back now, the signposts were always there.

I was born under the leadership of JFK, into a bloodline of explorers, at a time when the world was shifting beneath our feet. And I would spend much of my life unraveling the meaning of these threads—learning, experiencing, and eventually, awakening to the realization that I was not just born into history. I was meant to be part of it.

Next Chapter: The First Signs of a Wanderer’s Path

In the next post, I’ll explore the earliest moments in my childhood where these themes began to surface. What does it mean to be a Wanderer soul, and how did I begin to sense that my incarnation was different?
